This weekend saw our Junior A and B Hurling teams in action in the Mid Junior Hurling Leagues.

On Friday evening our Junior B Hurlers faced Moyne-Templetuohy with the winners guaranteed a place in the League final.  Despite a strong start the concession of 2 goals was a deciding factor and we lost out by two points in the end on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-14.  This end our involvement in the league with interest turning to the championship.  Our first game is away to Gortnahoe-Glengoole on Saturday, May 12th at 6pm.

On Saturday afternoon our Junior A hurlers were defeated by Loughmore-Castleiney which also ended their league campaign.  They have a home fixture against Moycarkey-Borris in their first championship game on Friday, May 18th.

Well done to our U12 Footballers who staged a fantastic comeback to defeat Moycarkey-Borris in the Mid U12A Football Final on Friday evening last.

Congratulations to our Juvenile Secretary Robert and his wife Eileen on their marriage this weekend.  Best wishes for the future.
