The draw for the Mid Tipperary Senior hurling championship has pitted defending champions JK Brackens against Thurles Sarsfields in one of three quarter-final ties. The winners will face Moycarkey/Borris or Holycross/Ballycahill in the semi-final. The remaining quarter-final will see Loughmore/Castleiney take on last years beaten finalists Drom/Inch. The winners here will take on Upperchurch Drombane who received a bye to the semi-finals. These games will take place following the conclusion of Tipperary's involvement in this Munster/All-Ireland campaign.
